An Earth Day Reminder: Nature’s Still Here (And So Are We) Let’s Go Rafting
The world’s a lot right now.
It’s loud, fast, and full of things we can’t control. But the river is still flowing.
Things are hard. Nature’s not. Come back to what matters.
Rafting season is here, and we’re back on the South Fork American River doing what we love: getting people outside, unplugged, and reconnected. Whether you’ve rafted with us before or have been meaning to try whitewater rafting for the first time, this is your sign.
This Earth Day, we’re thinking about what it means to show up—for the planet and for each other. A few hours outside can shift everything—your mindset, your mood, your connection to the world around you. Rafting is more than just a good time—it’s a reminder that we’re part of something bigger.
Here’s our Earth Day challenge:
Think of someone who’s never been rafting.
Maybe they live in the city. Maybe they’ve always said “next year.”
Invite them. Show them what it feels like to be out here.
We’ve got room in the boats, and our guides are ready. Whether you’re looking for rafting in California, a quick weekend plan, or just some space to breathe, our rafting trips on the South Fork are open to everyone.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Junior Guides for the first time this summer— the Premier Rafting Summer Camp in the Western U.S. dedicated to training the next generation of river guides.
It’s an exciting addition to our season and a powerful way to stay connected to the future of this river—and the kids who will help protect it.
And something else we’re proud of this year:
We know planning a trip isn’t always easy.
Between busy schedules and rising costs, even a quick escape can feel tough to swing. But we believe that time on the river—outside, unplugged, and with people you care about—is more important than ever.
That’s why we’ve made price improvements to our most popular trips this season.
It’s a small but meaningful shift to help more people say yes to a day on the river.
More time outside. More connection. More access—for more people.
Bring a friend. Book a trip. Spend a day outside.
And like all small, family run businesses, leaving us a review is a great way to support what we do.
Nature’s still here. And so are we.
Let’s get back to it.
With Gratitude,
The MaLode Crew
