1. What is your favorite rapid and what makes it special?
My favorite rapid depends on the flow! I love scissors when the flow is around 1500-1800 CFS because the wave train is bouncy and fun and I love satan’s cesspool when the flow is 2500-3000 CFS because the hole is rowdy. I love Hospital Bar any flow as long as I don’t get stuck in catchers mitt…

2. Why do you love working for Mother Lode?
I love Mother Lode for the people! Everyone we work with is very dedicated and passionate about the river. I also love the outdoor education aspect because we get to share all the interesting, miraculous, historical things about this beautiful place we call home.

3. What is one of your favorite adventures?
Road tripping all over the West, living out of a vehicle, exploring the diverse landscapes and meeting people from all over the country
