I love the camaraderie with our team members, we are all into doing the best we can delivering a valuable service changing lives of our guests with Gold Rush History/Native American History, Team Training, River Sciences and River Safety while enjoying our incredible American River!

What’s one of your favorite adventures?

Last year when we tackled the Yuba together with our fellow team members!

Education: Over 50 years of seaman/waterman experience.
Leadership Background & Experience:: I have captained power boats and sailboats of all sizes ranging from 8' to 70'. Particularly challenging is transporting Trans Pac sailboats back from Hawaii or returning them from San Diego to San Francisco due to the prevailing winds and currents. Guiding rafts is a new way I have found of enjoying water and whitewater rivers are especially fascinating and challenging. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for moving water with anyone who wishes to learn!
