Whitewater Rafting/Challenge Ropes Course Activities
A deposit of $50/person/day is due within five days of booking to secure your reservation. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation email containing a summary of your trip and payment information, maps/directions to our facility, a copy of our liability release form and a link to our recommended packing lists for day or overnight trips. Your final balance is due 30 days prior to your trip date. Reservations made within 30 days of your trip date require full payment at the time of booking.
Outdoor Education Programs
When we hear from you, we will hold the date that you are interested in and will send you an invoice. A deposit of 30% of the total is due within 30 days to confirm your chosen dates. Dates are not confirmed until we receive a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied towards alternate dates if necessary. Balance is due 30 days prior to your trip date.
River Access Fees
Each guest will be charged a $9/person for federal, state and local access fees to the river. This fee will be charged on a per guest/per river day basis.
If you must cancel your trip, all but a $25/person cancellation fee will be refunded provided we have written notice at least 30 days before your trip. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the trip date are not eligible for refunds, however, you may find another qualified person to take your place without penalty.
Trip cancellation insurance is available from our office or your travel agent. It will protect you in the event you must cancel a trip due to a medical emergency.
In order to confirm any of our programs or activities, we need at least ten persons booked on that particular program or activity. We reserve the right to cancel any departure if we have insufficient reservations. We will do all we can to reschedule or accommodate guests reserved on any departure that is cancelled.
Mother Lode River Center makes every effort to complete all programs and activities as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to cancel a program or activity if necessary due to weather conditions, flooding or other factors beyond our control. Should a cancellation be necessary your money will be fully credited towards another trip.
While we do our best to assure your safety while you are with us, we assume no responsibility for injury to participants, emergency evacuation costs, loss of personal property, or time or expense which you may incur. All participants are required to sign a liability release prior to the start of the trip.
We are often asked if it is appropriate to tip your guide; yes, it is. Our guides are compensated for their services. However, if you feel that your guide did an outstanding job, a tip is a great way of showing your appreciation.
