Leadership Team BuildingActivities

Leadership Team Building Activities on the Mother Lode Ropes Challenge Course

Our leadership team building activities are carefully crafted to meet your group’s unique needs and objectives. We provide a supportive, respectful, and safe environment for all participants. Most importantly, these activities bring plenty of riverside fun! We’re excited to create a memorable experience tailored to your goals.

What Are Leadership Team Building Activities?

Leadership team building activities on a challenge ropes course include both low and high elements that are ideal for personal growth and team bonding. Kids, adults, school groups, families, and business teams all gain valuable skills on these courses. It’s a fun and powerful way to boost personal accomplishment, self-esteem, teamwork, and camaraderie.

How Leadership Team Building Activities Build Skills on a Ropes Course

School groups and corporate teams build leadership and teamwork by observing, discussing, organizing, and summarizing accomplishments from these activities. Leadership team building activities develop key life skills like problem-solving, decision-making, goal-setting, cooperation, responsibility, integrity, and self-discovery.

I can’t say enough about this company…
They have a beautiful location right on the American River with large grassy areas to conduct all types of  leadership team building activities.

The facilitators are exceptionally well trained and supportive!”

Ropes Course Elements

Low Elements

Games, trust activities, and problem-solving

The “Lows” challenge groups to work together to accomplish tasks and overcome real and imaginary obstacles, close to the ground.

“Initiatives” consist of a series of games, trust activities, and problem-solving activities designed to promote communication, group collaboration, and team building.

As the group progresses throughout the day, you will observe each individual developing a caring attitude for their team.

It is truly an experience to watch this transformation among groups as their collective trust develops, overpowering the need for competition and rivalry.

High Elements

Rope Climbs and Zipline

The “Highs” develop trust in yourself and others as you complete high element challenges that require thoughtfulness and concentration above the ground.

High elements consist of a series of challenges, like ziplines, catwalks, climbs, and “leaps of faith” that occur 20-40 feet above the ground. Experienced and skilled facilitators are attached by a rope and belay system to the individuals who move through each element at their own comfort level and their own pace.

Using a belay system enables the belayer to hold the entire weight of the climber with just a small amount of force and easily hold or lower a climber as needed or desired.

The Only Zip Line on The American River

Family friendly, exciting, yet not intimidating, the Mother Lode Zipline is one of the most popular of the High Elements of our Ropes Course. Built to the highest safety standards, our zipline provides aerial thrills that perfectly complement the team building experiences of our Ropes Course and Whitewater Rafting programs.

Our High Ropes half day experience includes the Zipline.

If you are looking for a full day team building ropes experience we recommend combining the High Elements and Zipline with the Low Elements program.

Finally, our “Ropes and Rafting” program combines a half day of High Elements and Zipline with our Class III “Gorge” whitewater rafting adventure for the ultimate team sport!

We did the the ropes course and zipline and had a phenomenal time. My son liked the zipline the best and we can’t wait to come back!!!
