Want to combine your love of music and whitewater? Coloma Blues Live! Get heated up on Saturday at Coloma Blues Live!, an all-day festival, then cool off on Sunday with a whitewater rafting trip on the South Fork American River. After the festival, come down to the Mother Lode campground (approx 5 minutes from the event) and let us serve you dinner (BBQ, yum!). Spend the night at our riverside campground, and start the next day with a hot, hearty breakfast in camp before hitting the river for a great day on the water(with lunch). Discounts for 12 or more. American River Music Festival - Fri, Sep 19, 2008 - Sun, Sep 21, 2008
The 2nd annual American River Music Festival is September 19-21, and is a three day celebration of Americana, Folk and Blues on the South Fork of
the American River in Coloma.
12 terrific bands from throughout North America will give over 22 performances and workshops. Bands such as Gandolph Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams from New York. The festival is about creating a community of joyful folks by mixing the beauty of the South Fork of the American River with three days of music and activities. There will be a Joe Craven jam on our Friday whitewater river trip. A guided riverfront hike in the inspiring 2000 acre Cronin Ranch will have live performances by Jonny Mojo and The Dulcimer Girls. Three sponsoring riverfront campgrounds will each have their own intimate music, and of course, the main stage where music goes from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
on Saturday and Sunday. There will be great food, fine wine and craft beer, art vendors, kid's activities, a guitar giveaway and lots more.
Advanced ticket prices range from a single-day main stage pass ($35) to a three-day camping/all
music pass ($89) to our river trip/camping/all music pass ($189) to our all inclusive, which is our river trip/camping/meals/all music ($219).

Coloma Gold Rush Live - Fri, Oct 10, 2008 - Sun, Oct 12, 2008
For two days Coloma will be packed with images, sounds, and hands-on experiences dating back to the 1850s. Live history tent encampments recreate Gold Rush history in this authentic setting. Attend talks about the gold discovery and Sutter's Mill. Enjoy live music, historic trade demonstrations and a merchants market.
